Apple began rolling out iOS 27 for users here in Australia as of this week. The update is ready for supported iPhone models. To get the update, launch Settings. Then select General. Then tap Software Update. The phone will look for the update and list it if the device is supported. Not all older devices will receive iOS 27. The release date for iOS 27 is September 14, 2026. So the release is underway now. Certain iPhone users will see the update immediately. Others will not. The result is based on the handset.
