In Piddington village, residents organised a referendum and voted to leave the UK due to an asylum centre proposal. Lisa Nandy reacted to the vote. She said the government will hear from the residents and consider their concerns.

The government unveiled additional 42 Young Futures Hubs across England. These hubs support young people with life's challenges and offer guidance. Four hubs will be in Greater Manchester, following a pilot in the area. New hubs are expected for Lancashire, Blackpool, and the North East as part of the rollout.
