Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen is in the news again as a new film, The Social Reckoning, reaches cinemas and streamers. Starring Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White, the film dramatises her decision to expose Facebook's internal research.
Haugen spoke to journalists she has "extreme worry" about a shift in values at Meta and believes Zuckerberg is making risky bets with AI. She said she hopes the film moves others to come forward, telling The Verge she wants it to spark a new wave of insiders speaking out.
