The San Francisco 49ers have reunited with wide receiver Dante Pettis as part of their recent moves. Pettis, who previously played for the team, was one of several players the 49ers evaluated. Among the players the 49ers considered was Jerry Rice's son Brenden Rice. The team also let go of a defensive lineman. The signing brings back Pettis with the 49ers after a previous failed attempt.
