Dan Orlovsky, a veteran NFL quarterback, offered his thoughts on the opening week of league action.

He said the Giants whooped Dallas on both sides of the ball in his analysis.

Orlovsky called the Panthers' defense "putrid" following their shootout with the Bears in his assessment.

He blasted the Chargers overall for an "epic flop" to start the season under quarterback Justin Herbert and coach Mike McDaniel.

Orlovsky also said in his estimation that the Steelers' approach of "chasing points" is not sustainable.

He separately addressed what the Chiefs need to do to help Patrick Mahomes going forward.
